Originally human, Ishina became a tragic figure possessed by a malevolent nightmare through a contract made in dreams. As a result, Ishina's body no longer flows with human blood, and her soul gradually succumbs to the possessed nightmare, while the snake that clings to her grows larger, eventually becoming a part of her body. She is said to seek out vulnerable individuals with weak souls who can share her same illusions. Under the command of the possessed nightmare, she lures them into deals similar to the one she fell victim to, transforming them into entirely different beings from their usual selves.
